Alan Mitchell
Executive Director

As Executive Director, Alan provides strategic guidance and oversight on all of HealthEfficient’s engagements, and works to implement the vision of our Board of Directors. Alan has 12 years of experience working with community health centers and in public health. Alan’s passion is helping organizations to optimize strategy and performance to meet their goals and better serve their patients.

 

Magdalene Godena
Program Manager, Revenue Cycle

Magdalene has 10+ years of experience directly supporting Federally Qualified Health Centers and other medical practices in optimizing billing and revenue cycle operations. Magdalene helps our members and clients address the root causes with problems like claim denial rates, rising days in A/R, and inefficiencies in the revenue cycle process.

 

Trudy Wright, BSN, RN, CLSSGB
Program Manager, CQI

Trudy is a Registered Nurse with over 11 years of healthcare and Federally Qualified Health Center experience, with a focus on quality. Trudy is responsible for coordinating key CQI projects in partnership with member health centers and other partners, and has expertise in eClinicalWorks as a Super-User, UDS reporting, and working with health center staff to maintain Joint Commission and PCMH certification. Trudy believes in meeting people where they are, with the ultimate goal of providing high quality care and achieving health equity for all.

Stephanie Rose
Senior Director of Operations

Stephanie has been with HealthEfficient for more than 10 years and is responsible for closely managing all of our Clinical and Revenue Cycle projects and programs. She is a nationally-renowned expert on using EHRs to capture Social Determinants of Health data, and incorporating that data into clinical workflows. Stephanie is an NCQA PCMH Certified Content Expert, and directly leads our “Meaningful Use” efforts..

 

Christopher Utman, PhD
Assistant Director, Data Analytics

Christopher Utman, PhD, leads all of our data analytics and visualization efforts. He is expert in the use of a wide variety of data tools, including Tableau, Alteryx, and more. He compiles data and visualizations across our all projects, using our data warehouse containing the complete medical record of 1.2 million active patients. Chris develops easy-to-use, interactive data dashboards that provide leaders, managers, and staff with actionable data to improve performance.

 

Dr. Rachel King, DDS, MPH, MBA, MS
Clinical Director of Oral Health Programs

Dr. Rachel King is a pediatric dentist and dental public health specialist with advanced training in public health, healthcare administration, and healthcare data analytics. She has worked in military, academic, and public health settings with her primary efforts focused on advancing oral health access and care to underserved and vulnerable populations.

 

Victoria Potter
Assistant Director, CQI

Victoria Potter has 4+ years of experience in project management and implementation, practice facilitation, quality improvement, and change management in a multitude of healthcare settings. She helps our members and clients meet their project goals efficiently by driving things forward and breaking down large tasks into small, actionable steps to achieve success.

Michelle Tropper, MPH
Director of Clinical Programs

Michelle Tropper designs and implements our clinical projects and programs in primary care settings. She has 20+ years of experience in healthcare, and has a particular focus on diabetes, hypertension, cancer screening, and Opioid Use Disorder. She is an NCQA PCMH Certified Content Expert and an eClinicalWorks-certified trainer. She has been a HealthEfficient team member for more than 5 years.

 

Lisa Szymaszek
Operations Manager

With more than 13 years of experience at HealthEfficient, Lisa plays a crucial role in coordinating events, managing logistics, and overseeing human resources. Working closely with the Executive Director, she also ensures strategic alignment and efficient day-to-day operations, managing team members across six states.

 

Rachel Benatar
Assistant Director of HIT Programs

Rachel has 14+ years of experience supporting FQHCs and other health care organizations. Her focus is on HIT optimization and health innovation to promote and improve health outcomes. Rachel’s expertise encompasses Social Determinants of Health, Meaningful Use, EHR implementation, Telehealth, and Patient engagement and access HIT technology. She specializes in supporting health centers in optimizing their technologies and related workflows to align with QI objectives and best practices. Rachel is an eClinicalWorks expert and trainer. She has a great understanding of health center needs and HIT challenges.

 

Jessica Jolly, MHA, MPH, NBC-HWC, CHES, CLSSGB
Program Director, Workforce Development & Operations

Jessica has 15+ years of experience in executive leadership, healthcare operations, public health, organizational development, teaching, and health coaching. She has served in multiple C-suite positions including Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Organizational Development Officer in rural and urban Federally Qualified Health Centers. Jessica is a Certified Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt, a Certified Health Education Specialist, and a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She has operational expertise in process engineering and improvement, patient access, customer service, and call center management. Jessica specializes in supporting health centers implement effective and efficient strategies that foster the development, growth, and retention of a strong, diverse, and resilient workforce.
